From the project Artifacts, The Carafe was inspired by archetypes and by the shapes of day-to-day objects that we are so familiar with. And in particular, draws its inspiration from those shapes that hold something very precious and vital — water. And reflects what appears in our mind’s eye when thinking of a ‘vessel’ or object that holds water. For example, an ancient terracotta amphora with its round belly and tiny circular ears or a glass wine bottle; slim and straight with a high narrow spout. The carafe is an ode to all of those ancient and iconic shapes.

The volume of the carafe is 1L.

As all items are made by hand, minor variations from product pictures may occur.
